A Tale of Two Wells

A Tale of Two Wells It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. So reads the opening lines of Charles Dickens’ classic A Tale of Two Cities. An age of wisdom, and an age of foolishness, where people cannot see the obvious even if it lies obvious and blatant before them. Consider the following stories of two wells: one in Leipzig, Germany, and the other “somewhere” in Africa. The first well, in the greater Leipzig area, has been dated as about 7,500 years old, and is now officially the oldest known timber constructions in the world. The wooden well walls were dated with the help of dendrochronology or growth ring dating. They were built by the Linear Pottery culture, which existed from roughly 5600 to 4900 BC. According to a news report : The four early Neolithic wells were constructed from oak wood. In addition to the timber, many other waterlogged organic materials, such as plant remains, wooden artifacts, bark vessels, and bast fiber cords, as well as an array of richly decorated ceramic vessels, have survived for millennia hermetically sealed below groundwater level. With the help of dendrochronology, the scientists were able to determine the exact felling years of the trees and thus also the approximate time at which the wells were constructed. The tests revealed that the wood comes from massive old oak trees felled by early Neolithic farmers with stone adzes between the years of 5206 and 5098 BC. The farmers cleaved the trunks into boards, assembling them to make chest-like well linings with complex corner joints. Using state-of-the-art laser scanning technology, the scientists collected data on the timbers and tool marks and documented the highly developed woodworking skills of the early Neolithic settlers. The very well-preserved tool marks and timber joints testify to unexpectedly sophisticated timber construction techniques. That is really remarkable. Seven and a half thousand years ago, Europeans were making advanced wooden walls for their wells, using “advanced” carpentry techniques. Now I have to wonder—and all reasonable people should also wonder—why is it that organizations such as The Water Project still have to collect money from Europeans to dig wells in Africa in the year 2012?
According to that organisation’s website, You, your school, church or even a group of your friends can choose to fund an entire clean water project in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Uganda, or Rwanda. Cost and project availability vary, but on average a water project can be completed for at [sic] little as $7,000. The costs include preparing the community for a water project, actual construction and the long-term monitoring and evaluation needed to make sure your investment lasts a very long time. Now I am not one to deny water to anyone, but is it only me who wonders why Europeans were able to dig wells for themselves 7,500 years ago and line them with oak, while Africans still need white people to dig wells for them today? I mean really, how much more obvious can it all be? The full first few lines of Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities become even more apt:It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.

London BNP - BBC Paedophilia Protest

London BNP's little demonstration outside the BBC seems to be attracting quite a bit of attention. Whether or not the BBC have the integraty to report it is another matter. There again conspiring to censor legitimate political criticizm, with all eyes currently upon you, is perhaps risking matters even worse.

Man jailed for life for murder of mother of three and personel friend of mine

A man has been jailed for life to serve a minimum of 27 years for the murder of a mother of three from Southend at her home in July 2011.
Martin Bunch, 44, was found guilty of the murder of 47-year-old Jeanette Goodwin following a four week trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday, August 14.

A jury found Bunch guilty of the murder of his former partner at her home in Quebec Avenue in Southend on July 24, 2011.

Mrs Goodwin died after Bunch went to her home armed with a knife he had brought with him from his mother’s address and stabbed her in excess of 30 times to the chest.

Senior investigating officer, DCI Simon Werrett, said: “The sentence imposed by the court today will not bring Jeanette back, but it will provide some comfort to the family that Bunch will be in prison for a minimum of 27 years, which should ensure another family does not go through the heartache and distress they have.

"As the judge said 'Bunch is wicked, callous and has shown absolutely no remorse for murdering Jeanette', the sentence today reflected those words. He fully deserves the sentence.”
Essex Police
Above: Jeanette Goodwin
Following Bunch’s sentencing Jeanette’s family said:

Jeanette’s death could have been avoided if only the court system had taken the initial reports of violence more seriously. Bunch was given bail by the courts with conditions not to contact Jeanette which he ignored, he was tagged, this did not stop him, he simply cut them off, he showed no regard for the courts system but despite this they still allowed him freedom to which he took full advantage and we are now paying for that, as he took Jeanette’s life. The criminal justice system has to change and appropriate measures must be taken to ensure criminals are locked up sooner and victims protected.”Summing up the family's thoughts they said: “Justice has rightfully been served upon what we can only describe as an animal.

“Having heard during the trial how Jeanette tried to deal with the enormity of the situation alone and finally having the courage to go to the police the family want to raise the awareness of domestic violence and make it the forefront of peoples minds, to help women and men come forward and not be afraid to seek help with the confidence that they have full support of our justice system.

“The family knew very little of Jeanette’s difficulties until it was far too late, they hope that procedures can be changed so that families are made aware of what is going on at the time so that they too can help to support the victim. They would like to prevent any other family having to go through what they have been through.

“Jeanette was an amazing, beautiful person, a dedicated loving mother to her children and one of the most selfless people God created, she deserved the right to a peaceful life and she will be greatly missed more than words can express. The family and friends of Jeanette Goodwin can finally begin to grieve their loss.”

Maldon BNP Demonstration against 900 Homes

At 5pm on Sunday the 9th September saw a demonstration in Heybridge, Essex by around thirty patriots including the chairman of the British National Party and MEP, Nick Griffin.  This demonstration was called by the Maldon Group in order to draw attention to the plight of the green spaces in Heybridge which is being considered by the local Conservative Council to be built on with 900 homes within their local development plan (LDP). These Councillors who were elected in 2011 did not mention any of the 900 homes in ANY of their election literature.

The demonstration lasted two hours and during this time there was overwhelming support from local residents who drove past tooting their horns and waving.  One white van man even turned round and came back to personally thank the team.  The Maldon group also gave out leaflets to many local shoppers and pointed out that the Labour and the Liberal Parties have not even bothered to contest any District Council seats for over 10 years making the British National Party the official opposition in Heybridge and therefore it’s up to the BNP to hold the Conservatives accountable.

BNP Meeting in Elm Park 19th August 2012

By Eastern Region BNP

Lunchtime, Sunday the 19th August saw another successful meeting held in a local much loved venue. Organisers were surprised that 25 people turned up even though it was a scorching hot day and the football was on.

Paul Sturdy, the Dagenham organiser spoke first and gave an excellent speech.
He talked about expanding and getting people involved, about getting youngsters involved and about UKIP, together with the Euro collapsing. He also spoke quite passionately about the threat of Islam engulfing our traditional way of life.
Richard Perry spoke next and gave a speech about his upbringing in Essex and his love of British motorbikes and the downfall of this iconic industry due to inferior, cheap imports.
He went on to say that he had completed his engineering apprenticeship at the Ford Motor Company in Dagenham just down the road and was elected to represent people when he was just 21 years old.
In fact, he was the youngest shop steward ever at the Dagenham Engine Plant.
He went on to explain the reasons that he was drawn to nationalism which were mainly economic.
Some prospective new members attended their first meeting and were sufficiently impressed enough to join the demonstration for the illegal Mosque in Westcliff-on-Sea the following week.
Finally a raffle was held to raise money for the Dagenham branch.

Protest called as Bungalow in Westcliff on sea still being used as illegal mosque

By Richard Perry
The Eastern Region British National Party has called to have a peaceful protest this coming Sunday the August 26 in opposition to the Illegal Mosque operating in my home town of Southend on sea, I say my home town but it does not feel very homely any more as the Muslims have colonized many parts of this once very British seaside Town, we shall all be meeting at the rendezvous point which is Westcliff on sea Train Station on Station Road SS0 7SB at 1pm, please telephone Richard Perry on 07815822898 or Steve Squire on 07771598227 if you require assistance with getting to Southend. See you there!

Article from the Evening echo Below
AN illegal mosque is still operating despite Southend Council ordering its closure. Frustrated residents claim although the Islamic group have been told to move out of the bungalow in Fairfax Drive, Westcliff , up to 200 people a day are still descending on the property for religious celebrations and education classes. In July the Echo revealed the council had moved against the Jaafriya Islamic Welfare Centre following 150 complaints from angry neighbours about cars parking on the pavement, litter bags lining the street and late-night noise.
An enforcement notice was served on the premises, but it appears to have been ignored. One resident, who lives on the corner of Fairfax Drive and Hainault Avenue, said people are still regularly entering the building through a side gate. He added: “They are being a bit more discreet and more people are getting dropped off now rather than parking, but when I came home at 10pm the other night, I still ended up having to stop on double yellow lines because they had taken up the rest of the road.” As well as failing to apply for change of use permission, the owners of the site also built an extension without planning consent.

Cabinet split as Baroness Warsi attacks 'racist' curbs on immigration

Baroness Warsi pleaded with cabinet colleagues to drop what she warned would be seen as a "racist" policy when they discussed curbs on migrants bringing family members to live with them in Britain.
The row exploded when Theresa May, the Home Secretary, proposed that UK citizens earning less than £40,000 should not be allowed to bring in a foreign wife or husband, The Independent has learnt. Lady Warsi, the Conservative Party co-chairman and the first Muslim woman to sit in the Cabinet, warned that such a policy would amount to a "whites only" entry rule, with family members living in the Punjab having no chance of getting to this country. Cabinet colleagues say she warned bluntly that such a policy would be viewed as "racist".
The Tory peer, whose own father came to Britain from the Punjab, mounted a successful rearguard action against the Home Office plan after winning the backing of Nick Clegg and his fellow Liberal Democrat ministers. Ms May was forced to back down and announced a much lower income threshold of £18,600 last week, with a further £2,200 for each child.
Lady Warsi's office declined to comment. But one ally said: "Sayeeda does feel passionately about this issue." A Whitehall source confirmed: "She fought her corner very strongly. Other ministers took what she was saying very seriously." Last month, the Tory co-chairman raised eyebrows by saying that a small minority of Pakistani men saw white girls as "fair game". Nine Muslim men had been found guilty of grooming girls for sex in Rochdale. Greater Manchester Police had played down claims about a racial el
Another cabinet dispute over immigration looms over a plan to exclude foreign students from the official figures. This is being floated by David Willetts, the Conservative Universities minister, and Vince Cable, the Liberal Democrat Business Secretary, who are said to be arguing that students should not be counted because the vast majority only stay in Britain temporarily. The move would boost David Cameron's prospects of meeting his pledge to reduce net migration to under 100,000 a year. It is currently running at 250,000.
But it is being opposed by the Home Office. Damian Green, the Immigration minister, has insisted that the Government is on course to meet its target without "fiddling" the figures. He told BBC2's Newsnight programme that ministers could not "redefine" its way out of a problem. "Changing the thermometer does not change the temperature," he said.
Yesterday, Mr Green turned his fire on Labour as the party began to launch a tougher stance on immigration. He told The Independent: "This feels to me eerily reminiscent of Gordon Brown talking about British jobs for British workers. Unless they are proposing to rewrite the rules of the European Union they could be promising to deliver in an area where action is least likely."
l Moves to increase the penalties for people-trafficking will be announced by the Home Office today. The Attorney General will gain the power to appeal against what are viewed as lenient sentences for criminal gangs bringing in overseas nationals.
Family fortunes: What you must earn
Immigration earning rules
Under the new rules, any foreign national who wants to bring a spouse to Britain will have to earn at least £18,600.
The figure rises if the couple have children – someone applying to bring in three children needs to earn £27,200.
Previously there was no minimum income requirement.

Our Loyal Activists are Well Received in Romford

By Richard Perry

On Saturday 11th August at lunchtime saw 15 dedicated and loyal British National Party Activists set up a stall and leaflet in Romford Market.  The day was a lovely, warm, sunny day and the sun definitely shone on the righteous.  It was one of those lovely days when you felt happy to be alive unlike the 2 brave soldiers that died today fighting out in Afghanistan.

One thing that did strike us all was that all 15 of us were all from very different walks of life - London cabbies lorry drivers, shop owners, hoteliers, a retired financial advisor to name just a few.  We all came together however with the sole purpose of winning back OUR COUNTRY FROM THE LIBLABCON MONOPALY.

Our leaflets flew out and people stopped at our stall to have a chat and pick up newspapers.  The megaphone was used effectivley to bellow out facts about the Conservative coalition and amusing comments too.  There was also friendly banter with the staff and regulars of the pub opposite.

how often do the LibLabCons come out on the high street to speak with the electorate?  You guessed it only at election time.  Well rest assured that it wont be long before they are out again as I honestly don’t think that this rotten, stinking anti-British coalition will last more than another year!

Maldon British National Party on Newsnight

 By Maldon Group BNP

On Friday 13th April 2012 the live Newsnight programme was aired on BBC2.  This programme discussed the pros and cons of elected mayors.  The programme was hosted by Emily Matlis.  The fifteen member studio audience consisted of representatives from the smaller parties and plenty of “innits” to make up the numbers!

The British National Party was only invited at the last minute making it difficult for anyone to be available.  However, Maldon’s Richard Perry was available.  Richard was surprised when the BBC offered to pick him up and take him home again.  This made us all very suspicious of a BBC question time style ‘stitch up’.  However, since joining the Party only 3 years ago, Richard has steadily gained more and more confidence and is always up for a row so it was decided for him to enter the lions den.

About 20 minutes into the programme, Richard seized the opportunity to plug our mayoral candidate, Carlos Cortiglia, and point out that we were doing very well on the doorsteps in London and that people were going to be surprised at how well we do on election night.  He then went on to criticise the lib-lab-cons for being part of hustings where only three candidates were present and ridiculed the two so called main candidates by calling them “Boris and Doris” to which everyone including Emily Maitlis laughed.

The Impending Euro Collapse

By Richard Perry

To me it beggars belief that twenty six countries would all sign themselves up to the same single Euro currency given the “slap you round the face” fact that all these sovereign countries are fundamentally different and their economies all travel at different speeds.  Some of these countries are predominantly farming based economies, some are solely tourist based economies and some countries are industrial based economies (or should I say WERE industrial based economies).

These industrial economies were doing OK until the EU decided with their infinite wisdom and pro Marxist agenda that they wanted to help pollute this planet more and in turn they de-stabilised the Euro by opening up this lucrative market to the human rights abuse and torture capital of the world - China!

Given these undeniable simple facts we all agree that Euro is going to collapse.  To what extent it does collapse we don’t know yet.  Maybe it will lumber on in a two tier Euro system like a wounded Euro dinosaur?  Maybe some countries will revert back to their own currencies?

The Europhiles will have you all believe that the single currency collapse is bad for the UK.  This is a load of rubbish and don’t you believe it.  It is a simple fact that we import more than we export and the only countries with economies that are booming are countries like China who export more than they import and it doesn’t take a degree in economics to work that one out.

This impending post single currency tranzitional period is potentially the most damaging for the UK for the following reason:- when the Euro currency collapses and the sovereign Euro countries who do not have their own respective currencies ready at that exact same moment to distrebute immediately.  If this complicated operation is not done, these countries will have their populations all made destitute overnight.  No point in going to work! Can’t pay bills!  No point in opening your shop! Breakdown of law and order (Greece is a good example)!

Destitute European passport holders short term/long term answer:- Go to the UK! At least they are not daft enough to have the Euro. At least 400 million people with European passports are entitled  go there.  It’s a short trip away and they don’t control their borders anyway.  The British are a very hospitable nation so they will give you homes and schooling and also generous benathits!  Ok it is at the expense of their pensioner’s wellbeing but they probably voted for the political parties that support the European Union anyway so how can they possibly object to working longer and having a lower standard of living and healthcare?

My final point - truthfully ask yourself the following question! How many Euro MEPs can you name? I bet my ounces pounds pints gallons feet inches on it that you could not name more than a couple?

A Letter from the Clueless UK Border Agency Looking for Missing Persons

By Cllr Richard Perry

Where do all the people go that come here as “economic migrants” - sorry I mean asylum seekers?  We see them on the streets hanging about normally staring at women making them feel uncomfortable (just like they do in the third world).  We also see them driving untaxed, uninsured cars causing mayhem on our roads.  We see them in our local Council offices claiming benefits with tax payer funded interpreters.  We see them in our local hospitals getting free treatment paid for by us.  We see them taking their children to our schools when we can’t even get places for our own children.  We see some of them in our courts and then sometimes going to prison for hideous crimes.

One thing is for sure, just like the hapless Inspector Clouseau, the UK Border Agency have no idea where their “clients” are unlike us, the long suffering British public, whose lives have been detrimentally impacted by these people.

I have been shown a copy of a letter from the Home Office to a person who moved out from a property no less than 12 years ago.  This was when the former communist Jack Straw was in charge of this consistently incompetent department of the Government.  As you can see from the letter dated 24th July 2012, the Home Office has no idea how many dependants this person has or where they are, but just in case this asylum seeker does decide to come clean and write back, they have enclosed a handy pre-printed return address sticky label.

If, like me, seeing a copy of this letter makes your blood boil then please get in touch with us as we always need extra help with leafleting and/or donations.  What is so staggering is that this letter is a standard letter and it would have been sent out to hundreds of thousands if not millions of missing asylum seekers throughout the United Kingdom.

Europhiles worried about Nationalist Unity and funding.

A Recent Article by the Parliament.com

A furious row has flared after it emerged that approval has been granted to the formation of an alliance of seven European extreme right wing political parties.

These include the British National Party (BNP), which had two MEPs elected in the last European elections, the French Front National and Hungary's Jobbik.

The new pan-European grouping, called the "Alliance of European Nationalist Movements", will qualify for a reported €289,266 of EU taxpayers' money.

The AENM may also qualify for more European money next year.

News of the new group emerged on Thursday at parliament's plenary in Strasbourg.

Formal approval for the new group was given at a meeting on Monday by parliament's bureau, which comprises the assembly's president and vice presidents.

Reaction to the news was swift, with UK S&D member Claude Moraes, calling for a 'boycott' of the new group.

He said, "It's a shameful week for democracy in Europe. Let's hope this also will be a rallying cry for anti-fascists throughout the EU to work harder together to stop the pan-European far right."

He said, "There are pan-European alliances of political parties from the centre right Christian Democrats through to the Greens, including the Party of European Socialists which includes the British Labour Party as a member, and we all respect one another's differences and work together.

"I hope that none of the other parties work with this alliance of racists and neo-fascists.

"Two BNP MEPs were elected at the last European elections in 2009 and they are now in a close alliance with the Front National in France, who may achieve success in the French presidential elections in the summer, and Jobbik which has been a government coalition partner in Hungary.

"There are very strict rules about how this political funding can be spent. These include respect for democracy and human rights. We will keep a very close eye to make sure this new grouping stick to the rules.

"This is why we believe this decision is wrong, and we will closely monitor how this neo-fascist grouping spends their money," Moraes said.

The BNP failed to form an alliance of far right MEPs in parliament, but it was decided by the institution that this did not preclude them from forming a pan-European political party.

Further comment came from Edward McMillan-Scott, a vice president of parliament, who said the establishment of the new group gave "cause for real concern".

The UK ALDE deputy added, "I have been tracking the rise of the far right for a few years and in the last European elections we saw the rise of far right parties in ten of member states.

"The formation of this new group is further proof that these groups have been collaborating since that time and will present a joint platform at the next elections in 2014."

Communist takes over European presidency

By Cyprus correspondent Cllr Richard Perry

Demetris Christofias, the Greek Cypriot President, who is the only communist leader within the European Union has taken over the EU Presidency for a term of six months.  The EU presidancy is a largely ceremonial role but one that requires it to plan the blocs agenda and chair many of its meetings at this pivotel time especially with the Euro currency imploding rapidly.  Are we to be inspired and impressed by this Russian educated silver haired statesman? Well, I am afraid not! Since being elected President of Cyprus in 2008, Mr Christofias has replaced the Cypriot Pound and introduced the dreaded Euro to the Country which has in turn ruined the previously healthy and steady economy.

Cyprus is my second home.  One third of the island has already been taken by force in 1974 by Turkey when they killed men, women and children with their Christian ethnic cleansing policy.  The Greek Cypriot people are Christian, warm, friendly and family orientated and I genuinely want what’s best for them together and the tens of thousands of Brits that live there too but sadly, not only is the economy teetering and building sites now motionless with Hotels and whole parades of shops derelict but Cyprus has just become the forth European Country to ask for a bailout.  Its economy has been completely miss-managed with huge loans being made to Greece whom in turn cannot afford to repay because they stupidly adopted the doomed Euro too.

Cyprus now looks to Russia and the EU for financial aid.  Mr Christofias recently told Brussels reporters “We need money to develop our economy and we need money to recapitalise our banks”.  He added “The Russians, as good friends of Cyprus, want to take care of us” adding that he was prepared to take money from both Moscow and its partners in the Euro zone if it would help put the islands small and vulnerable economy back on track.  I have no doubt in my mind that the EU will bail out Cyprus, especially as the crafty President has been making overtures to the Russians for the bail out money.  The EU wont let the Russians bail out a European Country especially as we all know that the Russians have nationalist leanings and therefore are not in favour unlike China who are very much in favour and are well known for being the torture capital of the world.

I was very surprised at the timing of Mr Christofias EU Presidency appointment.  He cannot even run his own economy and balance the books so lets give him a bigger one instead!  This whole scenario would be laughable if it wasn’t so tragic.  No prizes for guessing who will be paying for the recapitalizing of Cyprus - yes US the taxpayers!

With just under two years to go before the next Euro Elections we must work hard to get more MEP’s elected next time to our bloc of European Nationalists who are the only hope for all the indigenous peoples of Europe.

Euro Elections 2014

1 in 15 voters voted for us in the 2009 euro elections, but we are not reprecented by 1 in 15 seats! THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE with your help!
